THE DIOCESE OF NEWARK OUR DIOCESAN COUNCIL Wednesday, February 14, 2007 Adopted Actions of Diocesan Council The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 St. Agnes', 65 Union Avenue, Little Falls, NJ The meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 14, 2007 was canceled due to inclement weather. Work groups were encouraged to caucus over the next two weeks to select or re-select the conveners. ECLF LOAN - CHRIST CHURCH, HACKENSACK Since the meeting was canceled an e-vote was taken on the ratification of an ECLF to Christ Church, Hackensack in the amount of $25,000. The loan will fund part of the church's renovation of the bathrooms and kitchen in the parish hall. Other renovation work included the construction of a handicap-access ramp, repairs and modifications to the heating, phone and electrical systems, and an adjacent meeting room. It was projected that the loan would be repaid by 2012 (five-year term). The interest rate was 5%.
