El pasado Sábado 17 de Noviembre, la Comisión de Ministerio Hispano/Latino facilitó un entrenamiento para líderes basado en el sistema de VIA: Viviendo la Identidad Anglicana. El taller provee a los líderes con herramientas acerca de cómo surgió la Iglesia Anglicana, el libro de Oración Común, la disciplina de la Iglesia y la manera como se combina la tradición, la Biblia y la razón.
La fundación VIA envió al Sr. Braulio Peruyero, de Florida, quien hizo un excelente trabajo de motivación a quienes asistieron al evento.
Los participantes representaron tres congregaciones con ministerio hispano: San Pablo, Paterson: Ana Hernández, Migdalia Santana y Teodora Figueroa.
San Juan, Dover: Miguel Hernández, Leonor Molina-Hernández, Maria Aguilar y Maria E. Garcés.
La Trinidad, Kearny: Maria E. Jurado, Diana Gamarra y Eusebio Huerta.
Felicitaciones y agradecimientos a quienes asistieron así como grandes deseos para que podamos ofrecer este entrenamiento a otras personas involucradas en otras congregaciones con servicios hispanos.

A report from the Hispanic Latino Ministry Commission
The Hispanic Latino Ministry Commission sponsored a Nov. 17 training program for lay leaders based on the VIA program. VIA stands for Viviendo La Identidad Anglicana (Living out the Anglican Identity). This program provides leaders with tools needed to better understand the Anglican Church, the Book of Common Prayer, the polity of the church and how we combine tradition, Scripture and reason.
The VIA foundation sent Braulio Peruyero from Miami, and he did a tremendous job motivating and educating all those that attended this daylong event. The participants represented three congregations that have Hispanic/Latino ministry.
Attending were: from St. Paul’s, Paterson, - Ana Hernandez, Migdalia Santana and Teodora Figueroa; from St. John’s, Dover, Miguel Hernandez, Leonor Molina Hernandez, Maria Aguilar and Maria Garces; and from Trinity, Kearny, - Maria E. Jurado, Diana Gamarra and Eusebio Huerta.
We appreciate and are grateful to all those that attended, and we have great hopes that they will now train other people from other congregations.
