Diocese of Newark Parish Receives Lilly Endowment Grant
The Church of the Atonement in Tenafly has received a grant of $36,755 to enable its rector, the Rev. Lynne Bleich Weber, to participate in the 2009 National Clergy Renewal Program funded by the Indianapolis-based Lilly Endowment Inc. Atonement is one of only 149 congregations across the country to win a grant in this highly competitive program this year.

Nation’s Oldest Episcopal Cathedral Joins Newark Revitalization
NEWARK, October 21, 2009 – Downtown Newark will soon see a new revitalization project – the renovation of the exterior of Trinity & St. Philip’s Cathedral, the nation’s oldest Episcopal cathedral building and the cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark.
