St. Alban's, Oakland - 2 Events Celebrate Women, Engage Women's Issues

St. Alban's Church, Oakland, recently held two events celebrating women and engaging them in women's issues.  MOVIE NIGHT -- St. Alban's hosted supper and a movie, Whale Rider, a program sponsored by The Women's Commission of the Diocese.  A very meaningful discussion followed the viewing.   WIN-NING COMBINATION -- More than 100 women attended a program sponsored by WIN, the Women's Interactive Network, at St. Alban's.  Beauty queen Shauna Pender and her mother, Debra, were an inspiration to all who came.
