Put away your snow shovel and get the garden tools ready for spring cleanup and planting. Store that left over calcium chloride and rock salt in an air tight container or it may melt away on those hot humid summer days. Be sure to change the oil in your snow blower and drain the gas before storing it for the season. Now is the time to sharpen the lawn mower blade, check the oil and if need be change the spark plug. Start the engine to be sure it runs. Get your power equipment tuned early, avoid the late spring rush. Be sure to use mulch on your gardens to minimize watering during the summer months.
