[Passaic Valley Today] School No. 2 in Little Falls is spreading some holiday cheer for needy families of the township. In joining Partners for Health, a community foundation of Montclair, the school has created its own food pantry. The donated food being collected will be delivered to the food pantries at St. Agnes Episcopal Church, located at 65 Union Ave., and First Reformed Church, located at 61 Main St.

"It's designated as a healthy food drive, which will include fruits and vegetables as well," said Dani St. Ledger, drive coordinator and Parent Teacher Association (PTA) parent member. "With the perishable food items, we'll be bringing them to the drop-off sites immediately."

According to St. Ledger, the school began collecting food for its food pantry beginning on Nov. 4. The drive was coordinated by St. Ledger, along with Robyn Davis, PTA member and Pat Keating, manager for St. Agnes food pantry.
