127th ANNUAL CONVENTION

VOTING ELIGIBILITY
Clergy and Laity

Members of Convention: The convention shall be composed of the Bishop(s), every Presbyter and Deacon canonically resident in the Diocese on the first day of January immediately preceding the meeting of the Convention (except that a vote shall not be accorded to Deacons having less than two years in holy orders or to retired priests whose service in the Diocese was for less than five years prior to retirement) AND three lay deputies from each Parish in union with the Convention and from each Mission AND one Youth Deputy and one alternate Youth Deputy elected by each district convocation, at least 14 years of age and under the age of 20. VOTING PROCEDURES
Preferential Ballot

The preferential ballot system will be used for all elections. Ballots will be accepted on Saturday, January 20.

Vote for the candidate of your first choice by filling in the circle with number 1 on the line of numbers opposite the candidate s name for each contest.

Indicate your preference for other candidates by filling in the circles 2 , 3 , etc. on the lines opposite the candidates name for each contest. Rank all candidates in order of preference. Do not use the same number more than once in the same contest.

Balloting requires a #2 pencil that will be provided to you. The ballot will be machine readable. Use only the #2 pencil provided. Do not use ink
