We’re looking for youth in grades 8-12 (and their chaperones) & young adults to join us in making a difference for their neighbors here in northern NJ. This is an amazing & affordable opportunity for young people to engage in fun, interactive community service and explore how caring for our neighbors helps us live out our faith.
This is a great opportunity to earn community service hours for:
- Confirmation preparation
- School requirements
- Community service clubs
- Scouting badges
Gathering during the school break for the state teachers’ convention and using Cross Roads (our diocesan camp & retreat center) as our base, we’ll go out in groups to work with our neighbors, including Christ Church in Budd Lake, the Church of the Messiah in Chester, North Porch and St. John’s Church in Dover.
The fee is $120. Scholarships are available upon request.
