Supply Clergy

In accordance with the canons, it is not necessary for clergy to be licensed to officiate in the Diocese of Newark, if they are performing as supply clergy for less than two months.

Supply clergy may be hard to arrange, particularly during the summer months and in certain areas, such as the western part of the diocese. If you know of clergy who are looking for supply work, have them contact the Rev. Canon Gregory A. Jacobs.
