Minutes

1. Discussion of budget and projects - Susan Robinson wants audio/video stuff

2. John brought to the committee the suggestion of Don Roberts that we invest in good map software similar to what is done in Diocese of SanJoaquin. Steve is going to investigate this a bit and see if there is a way we can make it fit into some category that will qualify for grant money - like it will make it possible for readers to read the map for the blind.

3. Russ presented information (powerpoint - click here) on setting up e-mail lists on our new server. John asked about offering sub-domains to heavy users. Agreed.

4. Our new isp only provides raw stats, so we need a program. John has found some freeware, but they're not intuitively obvious. The really nice ones are costly. Steve will look at WebTrends Live.

5. We now have cold fusion/database capacity. The key is going to be to design the database we want (plus a few fields). We'll need input from everyone. At next meeting we need to have Nina with us and we need to have this discussion at the next meeting. Russ will share what he does for Cross Roads.
