Projectors in general, rent again, ask Scott to rent again, save $900 for convention expenses. 8. Next meeting - November 10, 7:30 Christ Church
  9. Software - packages - Larry issue is getting folks connected, packages are another debate, all prices are about the same. Microsoft and Corel have both been approached, come as 5013c - educational - Financial packages $99 Quickbooks, but we don't have a commitment anywhere for connecting parishes electronically - we could lease a router; Dale suggesting clergy day - one way we pursuade clergy and vestry to do things is to do something at clergy day; Michael says we actually need to go into churches and show them how to do what needs to be done. Steve would like us to buy a pile of packages, Dave says lets go with onesies prices and advertise what we've done. Michael - can we do this announcement at clergy day $ whole thing until the $ runs out, want something back - in 3 months they be subscribed to the Newark mailing list.
  10. Consecration - can we assist - several ways - at Essex CCC, large gym, bleachers, large screen will divide to 2/3, reception, west and east walls white in color. If they can get pictures, can we put together visual display. Also assist with putting together charts and graphs that will be needed by the participants. Larry will work with the planning committee.
  11. Other concerns - Michael wants to use the national church's reference stuff for Sexual Abuse paper document and put it on the web, but he's concerned with copyright law. Hal says that if he adds his own creativity to it and then to put them on our site. 815 gives out 1 copy and permission to reproduce.
  12. Larry - update on diocesan budget stuff. 27 stations now at Episcopal House, bugs out of Windows '98, integrated diocesan data base being edited and used for directory, 2nd annual automated registration for convention, internet routers and stuff are still an issue, but things are moving apace.
