Agenda Topics:

  • Convention
  • Support for Johanna
  • Budget
  • Workshop Postmortem

Budget-
We have a $4,800 budget this year, of which we have expended about $2000. To utilize the rest, it was decided to purchase 2 sets of back-up bulbs for the projectors, spend $500 to renew the website for the next year, and spend whatever is necessary to send Margaret Giammarino and Kitty Kawacki to be trained in the use of html and Dreamweave, as well as the software, computer upgrades, etc. to enable them to use the training.

For 2000 -
Another year on the web site and the dial-up accounts Down-link site plans look to run about $10,500 Signing interpreters - $320 Mailings and miscellaneous - $2,000 Hardware assistance - $5,000 John will write it all up and get the papers in on time.

Postmortem - The conference went well. John and Steve are putting together pages containing a set of training materials to put on the web site. John will add meta tags to the Diocesan pages.

Convention - On Friday night there will not be a great convention dinner with awards, etc. The dinner will be to honor Jack and Christine Spong and their ministry. The hearings will be only 1 hour. There will be a symposium from 5 - 6:30 on The Book, then dinner in the ballroom and Manhattan Room with a video feed.

Larry is preparing all of the election stuff. He has talked with Dave Jones. Larry will be there for convention. The program is in FoxPro, which maybe Ken Boccino knows. Perhaps Ken and Dave can look at it is. Do we need to do research to see what to use in 2001?
