Meeting Minutes
November 20, 1997

Present: John Rollins, Steven Boston, Jan Paxton, Dave Jones, Scott Bennett, Johanna Young

  1. Budget for this year and Projectors and cameras:
    Concern: If we buy a camera, we need first to be able to have the projector for convention
    Scott has a guy that will deliver and pick up for $350/day. We need to ask Michael if he has arranged for 2 screens - one for each corner? Is anyone going to need an overhead? Scott will make the arrangements.
  2. Next year's budget - John has done it on his computer
    Budget meeting Saturday, Dec. 6
    We need to get the site license $ onto the budget John will get this submitted to Michael by tomorrow morning and will ask for Convention time for our presentation
  3. Digital Cameras - Steve has one Ricoh - does 9 hi res shots and sound, PC Computing chooses Olympus
    Dale would like it, John says go. Lets spend $700 on one now. Moved by John, seconded by Dave, unanimously passed. Steve will deal.

    For January - need firm committments for Convention and Workshop
    Convention: Scott there, not a delegate - Friday and Sat.

    Workshop plan - rough plan- John will ask Cindy if she will be able to share stuff about Java at the March workshop
