As part of the diocese’s work to select recipients for the Alleluia Fund, the diocesan Alleluia Fund Committee met for a full day of applicant interviews at Episcopal House this past Saturday. Thank you to this hard-working group of volunteers! Award recipients will be announced on December 13, 2018.

The theme for this year’s Alleluia Fund’s Advent Appeal is “We are an Alleluia People,” and communication with that messaging has been mailed out to leaders, donors, and congregations in the diocese. In the packet we’ve included a 2018 Alleluia Fund brochure and letter from the Bishop in which she points out that “while the Alleluia Fund works to help our brothers and sisters in need, our financial support of the Alleluia Fund works to support us as well by giving us a tangible way to show God’s love in our own broken world.”

Please include the Alleluia Fund in your end-of-year giving. You can make a gift right now at e-giving.dioceseofnewark.org. Extra copies of the brochure are available through the diocese. Please reach out to Cynthia McChesney at cmcchesney@dioceseofnewark.org.
